The customer is always given the possibility of trying out the appliance in order to become familiar with its use and to verify all its usefulness before deciding to buy. Support and advice once an instrument is fitted is essential. Amplifon arranges checkup visits to deal with any problems or to be ready for any piece of advice.

 

Amplifon Service Chain

Registration:

Every customer visiting our outlets is asked to fill in a customer sheet, containing his personal data, contacts and disease history. The customers should have an audiogram and a clearance or doctor's prescription, to start their process in the Amplifon Middle East outlets. 

Pre-counseling:

Special consideration is given to this step with the aim to minimize the social stigma and the psychological preparation  of the customer, to accept the new hearing solution. Using a specially designed counseling software the following is emphasized, a brief explanation of the hearing mechanism, value of hearing versus vision, domain problem description, technology and types of hearing instruments as well as their price ranges. This may be considered as a guided tour on what the patient will experience in his real life.    

Observation & Judgment of the ear canal and the ear drum:

The ear canal and the ear drum are examined for Cerumen, illness or infection. If any of these conditions is present, the customer is referred back to his/her physician to do the necessary.

Counseling:

The explanation of available solutions and hearing instruments types are carried out to the patient. This is followed by allowing the customer to touch and examine some of the potential hearing instruments, getting the patient closer to testing and later wearing a hearing device.

 

Ear Impression:

Taking a good ear impression is a fine sequential process, requiring a compatible set up and highly trained personnel. A good ear impression is an essential for the production of good ear mold and shell, which for there part contribute to the quality of the fitted hearing instrument.

 

Fitting:

Amplifit, a special interactive fitting software has been developed in collaboration of university centers in Europe and the USA.
Amplifit concept is based on using specially designed versatile video clips, showing real live situations, giving us the ability to personalize it to the individual life style. Amplifit rates, assesses and fine tunes the customers hearing solution to his or her personal life situation.

Amplifon Middle East's hearing instrument centers provide professional services; teaching the customer the proper way of keeping the instrument maintained. Amplifon is always keen to inspect, make basic repairs or even provide factory reconditioning for the instrument if needed.
